What is considered an “easy” platinum?

For the record, I consider anything with a difficulty of 3/10 or lower to be an “easy” platinum. Some will find that those with higher difficulty are easy as well as some will find some of these difficult. I can’t judge everyone’s style of gaming so that is why I set the defining parameter to be a 3. This is far enough below mid way or average difficulty and also far enough from what would be considered super easy with a 1/10. If you sense that I have got one wrong or missed one you think should be included please submit that either through comment or through Twitter. Thank you and enjoy.

North America Easy Platinums

  • Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today ($8.99) – A story about Michael, a man with no past who must recover his identity and decode the two events that brought the world to the edge of collapse. This is a point and click adventure that is very easy to not only beat but also platinum the game. It comes with a difficulty rating of 2/10 and should take you about 2-4 hours to complete the game with a platinum trophy. You can either play alone or follow along with the guide to better help you.

  • Ginger: Beyond the Crystal ($8.99) – Ginger must reestablish the connection with the goddess by purifying corrupted crystals that have spread throughout the worlds. This is a 3D platformer that is set across multiple colorful hub worlds. The difficulty for this game comes in at a 3/10 and should take about 10-15 hours to complete and get your shiny new platinum trophy. You can follow the guide or chose to play this on your own. The choice is yours.

  • Claire: Extended Cut ($3.74) – This is a 2.5D game where you will go deeper in to Claire’s story of trauma and guilt. This game can be completed in 2-3 hours and has a difficulty rating of 3/10. You can also get a second bonus platinum with this purchase as the Vita copy has a separate trophy list. The Vita version, however; has a 4/10 difficulty rating. You can follow the video guide and not miss a single trophy on your first play through.

  • 36 Fragments of Midnight ($2.09) – A platformer where you play as Midnight and you are on the look out for your friends Star Fragments. You will pitted against the time and death toll. This game comes in with a difficulty rating of 2.5/10 and should take around 1-2 hours for your new platinum. You can also get a bonus platinum with this purchase as the Vita version comes included and has a separate trophy list. You can follow the guide or try it out for yourself first. I personally recommend going at this one on your own as the trophies for this title are all pretty straight forward on what you need to do.

  • Midnight Deluxe ($3.99) – This is a spin-off of 36 Fragments of Midnight. This is going to be a golf like game where you will launch Midnight in to the sky and make your way through multiple obstacles and hoops. This one also comes with a bonus platinum with the Vita version being a separate list. This game has a difficulty rating of 2/10 and should only take you around 30 minutes – 1 hour to complete. You can again look at the trophy list and know exactly what is needed or you can choose to follow the guide to help you along your way.

That is all for the North American sale. There are a total of 5 Platinums on sale with a bonus of 2 extra platinums for those that own a Vita as well. If you have an EU account for trophy hunting or have an EU account as your main, then you will want to pay attention to the next portion as there are a lot of games on sale. Also there are plenty of stackable games for those that have a NA and EU account.

Europe Easy Platinums

Since Europe’s sales are a little different in how they separate them, I will separate them on here the same way they are in the store. This will make it easier for those looking for the games and knowing exactly where they are. If anyone from the EU region knows or could suggest a better way to do the EU section, please let me know in the comments below or on Twitter. I’m not from there so can only go off what I know of the store. Any feedback to make this list easier for you guys/girls is much appreciated. Thank you.

Under £4 Sale

  • Goat Simulator (£2.49) – This is a fun little game. With rag doll physics and loads of crazy antics it makes for a fun time. The game has a difficulty rating of 2/10 and should take anywhere from 3-10 hours to complete. The reason for the disparity between completion times is for one trophy in the game called Flappy Goat. You can follow the guide or try it out for yourself. I would recommend at least using the guide to know what to do.

  • Coffin Dodgers (£3.29) – In this fun little racing game, you will be racing in mobility scooters. They are all pimped out and ready for action. This game will take approximately 4-8 hours to platinum and has a difficulty rating of 2/10. You can follow the guide or use it to map out a plan to snag the platinum as quickly as possible.

  • Trine 3: Artifacts of Power (£3.29) This is a RPG that is really poorly implemented mechanics wise making it an easy platinum. This should take you around 3-4 hours to get the platinum with a difficulty rating of 2/10. I would recommend using the guide for at least a know how on what to look for on your play through.

  • Late Shift (£3.99) – This is a high stakes FMV thriller. I know these types of games aren’t for everyone but it is in fact an easy platinum. You’ll have to make the decision if it’s worth it or not for you. There is a “speed run” method where you will utilize the exit game and resume options. This should take you 2-4 hours and only 1.5 playthroughs. Without this method you’ll be playing it 7 times and it takes around 8-10 hours to complete. You can follow the guide on this method and utilize it to choose exactly which method you will take if you decide to platinum this game.

  • Lara Croft GO (£2.49) – This is a turn based puzzle adventure in which you make your way across several levels by moving one square and the enemies or objects will move one square as well. You’ll have to find the best path to complete the level and the game. This is a 1/10 difficulty and only takes around 2-6 hours to complete. It’s closer to the 2-3 hour mark if you use the guide that will help you tremendously by leading you down the correct path each time.

  • Hitman GO: Definitive Edition (£2.49) – Another turn based puzzle adventure this time in the Hitman universe. This one has a 2/10 difficulty rating and should take around 3-4 hours to complete. I also recommend the guide on this one as it makes the platinum as quick as possible.

  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (£3.99) – This game is an action packed platformer filled with cinematic adventure and creative puzzle solving. This game is said to be a 3/10 difficulty rating and should take about 5-8 hours to complete. The guide is here for reference but this game i would recommend playing through at least the first time on your own as it really is a fun game.

  • The World of Nubla (£3.99) – This is a walking adventure but in the course of playing it, you will have to solve pretty easy puzzles and find different objects. It’s said to be 1/10 difficulty rating and should take only 30 minutes – 1 hour to complete. Now I do recommend the video guide for this one as it is a stackable platinum so you can have 2 platinums here, one for NA and one for EU. Of course both versions will need to be purchased. This guide also serves as another guide with a game for a similar name that I will list later on. The trailer will be for the game “Nubla” but interestingly enough they are the exact same game just different platinums.

  • Nubla (£3.29) – This is the EXACT same game as above just with a smaller title. I have no idea why they released two of the exact same games only making the title different but it was to our advantage. As this one is also stackable with the NA version you can get a total of 2 platinums on this game and 2 on the one above for a total of 4 for a pretty low price. This one also has a difficulty rating of 1/10 and should only take 30 minutes – 1 hour. Again, I do recommend following the video guide on this one as it makes the play through so much easier.

  • Oxenfree (£3.99) – This is a supernatural thriller about a group of friends who unwittingly open a ghostly rift. This game is set to take you around 8-12 hours and only has a 1.5/10 difficulty rating. There is a guide that you can use to make your play through of this game a little easier and more quick.

  • Mantis Burn Racing (£3.99) – This is a racing game with a top down view. The visuals are pretty good for this game as well. The tracks are based on realistic locations. The game is only a 3/10 difficulty rating and should take around 10-15 hours to complete. There are some multiplayer trophies but you can achieve those on your own if you have a second controller handy. Check out the guide and maybe decide from there if you are having trouble with the decision.

  • Orc Slayer (£1.69) – To be fair this is a terrible game. The hit detection in this really is way off and sometimes the game glitches out. That being said it’s a pretty easy platinum. Best part yet is you can buy the EU and NA version of this game and get 2 platinums pretty quickly. The game is a 2/10 difficulty rating and should only take about 1-2 hours to complete. I would recommend following the video guide on this one, as to me it seems much easier to follow along with than the regular guide.

  • The Sexy Brutale (£3.99) – This is a 3D puzzle adventure game where you must unveil the secrets of The Sexy Brutale casino mansion and it’s inhabitants. The game is rated with a 3/10 difficulty rating and a 2/10 if you use the guide. It should take you approximately 6 – 10 hours or only 3 hours if using the guide. As you can see the guide is a very handy helper to this game and obtaining the platinum.

  • Burly Men at Sea (£3.29) – A folktale about a trio of large, bearded fishermen who step away from the ordinary to seek adventure. This game is only a 2/10 difficulty rating and should take only about 1-3 hours to complete. Now according to the guide, the Vita version is the same list and therefore not a stackable platinum even though you get the game via cross-buy when you buy this game. This will just allow you to make the choice on where you want to play it.

  • The Bunker (£3.99) – A completely live action experience that was filmed on location in a decommissioned nuclear bunker. This game has a difficulty rating of 1.5/10 with the walk-through and should only take about 1-2 hours with the walkthrough guide.

  • Catlateral Damage (£3.29) – This game will have you playing as a cat that is annoyed at its humans. You will spend the game knocking stuff over cause that is what cats do apparently. The game has a difficulty rating of 3/10 and should take around 10-12 hours to complete. The guide will help you along your way, making the platinum run as quickly as possible.

  • Eekeemoo (£1.69) – In this adventure game you will play as Eekeemoo and you will have to rescue your friends from the clutches of the evil dark shard. The game comes with a difficulty rating of 2/10 and should take you around 1-2 hours to complete. The guide is definitely helpful in order to complete the game as quickly as possible. With this one I definitely recommend it cause the game can be buggy at times, slowing you down. This game is also has a stackable platinum with the NA version of the game so you can get 2 platinums on this single game with a valid purchase.

  • Ether One (£3.99) – This game is a first person adventure game in which you will be exploring the world of dementia and its effects on the human mind. This game has a difficulty rating of 3/10 and should take around 3-4 hours by following the guide and 4-6 hours without.

  • 101 Ways to Die (£3.29) – A puzzle-platformer you will play as the assistant to the mad scientist Professor Splattunfuder. He is a scientist, inventor, and a weapons manufacturer on questionable sanity. This game has a difficulty rating of 3/10 and will take you around 6-10 hours with the guide and without, it will take over 10 hours.

  • Wheels of Aurelia (£2.49) – This game tells the story of Lella, a restless woman driving on the roads of the west coast of Italy, the famous “Via Aurelia”. This game has a difficulty rating of 2/10 and according to the guide will only take about 6-8 hours to complete. This game also has a stackable NA trophy list meaning with the purchase you can snag yourself 2 easy platinums for this title.

  • Gemini: Heroes Reborn (£3.29) – You will be playing as Cassandra in this first person action/adventure game. A young woman on a journey of discovery in which she will unlock incredible powers. The game has a difficulty rating of 2/10 and according to the guide will take around 2-6 hours to complete.

  • Claire: Extended Cut (£3.29) – This is a 2.5D game where you will go deeper in to Claire’s story of trauma and guilt. This game can be completed in 2-3 hours and has a difficulty rating of 3/10. You can also get a second bonus platinum with this purchase as the Vita copy has a separate trophy list. The Vita version, however; has a 4/10 difficulty rating. You can follow the video guide for this game for both the Vita version and the PS4 version of the game.

It has 4 levels of difficulty, six worlds to conquer, twelve mid and end level bosses, seven god like armour sets, five basic weapons and 35 magic combat spells. • forma.8 (£3.29) – This is a unique take on a proven Metroidvania action/adventure formula. It has a striking visual style and a huge world to explore. This game was also free on PS Plus a while back so you might already have this on your purchased list. This game is about a 3/10 difficulty rating and should take around 3-5 hours. Only guide available is a video guide but it comes with all the timestamps that you will need to get a guaranteed platinum. This game comes with the Vita version but they have the same trophy lists so this will just give you a choice on which platform to play it on.

  • Shadwen (£3.29) – This is a stealth action game where really the only thing you have to do is complete the game unseen. If seen you will be killed on sight. The game is said to have a 2.5/10 difficulty rating and should take about 10-15 hours to complete according to the guide.

  • The Deadly Tower of Monsters (£3.29) – This is another game we received as part of the monthly games from PS Plus so if you make sure to grab them every month then you likely have this in your purchased tab already. This is a top down shooter with director’s comments and is rather amusing. This game has a 2/10 difficulty rating and should take a little over 5 hours to complete according to the guide.

  • Volume (£3.29) – This game has some content creation aspects to it and will feature 100 levels of unapologetic stealth action with a suite of gadgets to avoid, distract, and evade detection. This game has a 3/10 difficulty rating and according to the guide will take you around 5-7 hours to complete.

You are on a quest to find your son but only you can rebuild the Wasteland and determine its fate along the way. The game has a difficulty rating of 3/10 and according to the guide should only take you 50-75 hours to complete. That may seem like a long time but in retrospect it won’t feel that long as you play the game.

  • Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (£3.99) – This is an open world action/adventure game that has been rebuilt and remastered for the PlayStation 4. The difficulty rating for this game is 3/10 and should take around 30-35 hours to complete according to the guide.
