This game was reviewed on a PS4 Slim, it is also available on PS Vita and iPhone/iPad

Are you a Sudoku fan? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play Sudoku with letters instead of numbers? Well now is your chance. There are a total of 240 puzzles ranging from beginner to fiendish difficulty range. You have the ability to decide to play the game with the normal numeric Sudoku or go on with the alpha characters instead. The game is a lot of fun and definitely there for any of the Sudoku fans or trophy hunters looking for an easy platinum.

This game is pretty straightforward as you would expect a Sudoku game to be. Just simply solve the puzzles and move on to the next one. I did appreciate them putting in the option to play traditionally with numbers instead of the letters. I did play both ways and it was definitely an easier time using the numbers over the letters.

The option to play with numbers comes with no sound. It’s just you and the puzzle. However, if you choose to play with the letters you will find that the music included in the game is very soothing and that is definitely what you want if you don’t want the added pressure music can sometimes bring.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this game for any Sudoku player out there that has a PS4 or iPad/iPhone as you won’t be disappointed in the least bit and it’s a great way to pass the time or take a break from the bigger AAA games you have been playing. Also, if you are a trophy hunter, then this game is definitely for you. With a guide the game only takes about 2 hours to platinum and the platinum stacks 4X with PS4/Vita and NA and EU versions. Not to mention the game is cross-buy with PS4 and Vita for both the NA and EU versions. So that is 2 platinums for a single price.

  1. “The option to play with numbers comes with no sound.”

These two options can be toggled on/off separately. I played the whole game with numbers and music.

    1. Do you just select the two options Numbers and BGM for it to do the music and numerical Sudoku? Now that I type this I am understand that BGM stands for Back Ground Music. All the time I played it seemed to be one was for normal Sudoku and the other for Alpha Sudoku. Good catch and thank you for letting me know.

We would definitely love to know what you think below
